Warren Elsmore commissioned me to build a 1:130 scale model of Shibuya Crossing!
The model is 64x128 studs, 350mm/~13.75" tall, and trophy fig scale. It can be viewed 360° since it has small scenes and rooms on the backs of the buildings.
First I designed the model in Bricklink Stud.io and worked out the more complicated concepts with actual bricks. The model then took 2.5 weeks to assemble on-site in Warren's studio. I also designed all of the printed elements. They're a mixture of real-life adverts/signs and other fun illustrations.

This model is now on display at the Hopetown Darlington in the UK as part of the Brick Journeys Exhibition until the 6th of October! Book tickets here!
