Warren Elsmore commissioned me to build a 1:130 scale model of Shibuya Crossing!
The model is 64x128 studs, 350mm/~13.75" tall, and trophy fig scale. It can be viewed 360° since it has small scenes and rooms on the backs of the buildings.

First, I designed the model in Bricklink Stud.io and worked out the more complicated concepts with actual bricks. The model then took 2.5 weeks to assemble on-site in Warren's studio. I also designed all of the printed elements. They are a mixture of real-life signs and other fun illustrations.
This model debuted at Hopetown Darlington on the 16th of July as part of the Brick Journeys Exhibition. The theme of the exhibition was transport, and this model's subject was 'roads.'
